Method 1

1- Set your internet connection as a metered one:

2- Open Settings->Network and Internet->Advanced Options

Method 2

1- Press Windows+R

2- Now type “services.msc” and press enter

3- Now navigate to “Windows Update” and double click it.

4- There you will find an option to disable, select it and click ok.

1- Open Taskbar by pressing Ctrl+Alt+delete

2- Now open Process tab and find Service Host: Local System

3- Right-click on it and select Expand

4- You will see Background Intelligent Transfer Service

5- Right-click on it and select Stop

6- Now do the same for Delivery Optimization and windows update

Now you will see that the internet consumes by Service Host: Local System is lower down gradually and you are getting back proper bandwidth on your browser . This saves your data if you are using a limited data plan.
